Special-Interest Housing
Live with other students sharing a common interest.
Beloit offers student clubs and organizations the chance to obtain group housing in spaces accommodating anywhere from four to 20 people. Each club/organization governs and manages their spaces, including room requests. First term, first-year students are not eligible to live in special interest housing.
Spaces
- Anthropology House: For students interested in raising awareness of anthropology on campus.
- Art & Dance House: For students interested in art and dance.
- Beloit Science Fiction & Fantasy Association (BSFFA): For students interested in science fiction and fantasy entertainment, including movies, games, and traditional role-playing.
- Black Students United (BSU): Special-Interest House that serves as a support group for students of color and educates about Black issues.
- Chinese House: For students interested in Chinese language and culture.
- Feminist Collective: For students interested in raising awareness of women’s issues and support women on campus.
- French House: For students interested in French language and culture.
- Japanese House: For students interested in Japanese language and culture.
- Outdoor Environmental Club House (OEC): For students in nature and raise awareness of environmental issues.
- Sexuality and Gender Alliance House (SAGA): For students interested in raising awareness of LGBT+ issues.
- Spanish House: For students interested in Spanish language & culture.
- Substance-Free Programming and Innovative Entertainment League (SPIEL): For students interested in providing campus with substance free events and programming.
- Voces House: For students interested in educate members and the campus community about Latino cultures.
